The end of the 2025/6 season brought the curtain down on Robin Cook’s 10-year tenure as Otley Choral Society’s accompanist. Robin took up piano at the age of eight and had a long and successful career as a music teacher before his retirement brought him north to Yorkshire. Robin originally stepped in as our accompanist at short notice and swiftly became an essential pillar of the society. Robin also accompanied many of our concerts with rare distinction. He will be missed by all as he moves on to new chapters, and we wish him a long and happy retirement.
